Pokémon GO Halloween 2026 in New Orleans: Events and Crew Guide

October is the busiest month on the Pokémon GO calendar. In New Orleans the days are getting shorter, so more of each event happens near dark. Here’s what’s left this month and how to play it with other people.

Play it safe after dark

  • Stay in lit, busy places, and keep the group together.
  • Look up at every crossing, and put the phone away while you walk between stops.
  • The French Quarter and downtown are best in daylight. After dark, stick to well-used routes and head home before you’re tired.

Halloween 2026 Part II

Everywhere in the game

The second half of the Halloween event starts right after Part I ends.

Further out: the game’s 30th anniversary tour stops in Singapore on November 7 and 8, at Changi Airport and Jewel. It’s worth watching to see what city events look like now.

How to play events with a crew

Pick a loop with sidewalks and people around, such as City Park, Audubon Park, the Lakefront or the Lafitte Greenway, and walk it together during event hours. One person watches spawns, one watches the time, and everyone gets more done than alone.
